SASQUATCH SOCKS is a dramatically unique 7" orange and apricot blend crispate with an apricot watermark, fine yellow edges, and a wide chartreuse throat. The petals show orange spots and veins against an apricot base at the petal tips. Scapes are 33" with modest 3-way branching, 13 buds, but the plant doles out the bloom over a long period of time starting midseason, and its unique hybridizing potential make it a highly desirable addition to your hybridizing program. From a cross of FLYING TRAPEZE X MISS DEMEANOR, it has dormant plant habit and is EASILY fertile BOTH WAYS. More people ask about this one than any of my other possible introductions and it will be very limited due to reservations already made by garden visitors. Tetraploid.
